Cook High School and Virginia High School Youth In Action students have begun working with area contractors on the construction of the Cook Youth Recreation Facility/Community Center. This is a community based project with many volunteers.
Currently, the cement slab has been poured and IRYA youth will be removing the form boards from around the new slab on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 8am to 2pm.
Local contractors will be working with area youth and volunteers to build the walls within the week.
